Welcome to our website!

We are
a non-residential Christian Community formed under the Canons of the Episcopal Church, whose members
apply basic monastic principles to everyday living as we seek to demonstrate our faith and allow our lives to be
transformed by God.

We are…

  • Gospel-centered - The core of our being comes from the teaching and grace of the Living Word.
  • Faith-based - We know that we are saved by faith, but we demonstrate our faith through actively practicing
    monastic principles.
  • Ecumenical - although based in the Episcopal Church, we welcome members of any Christian denomination
who share our values and desire to fully know, love and serve the Lord.
  • Inclusive - acceptance into the Community is based on one's desire to share in the treasures of love and
    compassion of Our Lord.
  • Non-residential - there is no requirement to live in a certain place.  Our members live and work in various
places across the country.  We are a monastic-based community without walls, but with a spiritual home at the
    heart of Christ.
  • Congregation-focused - we seek to supplement the work of local parishes and church communities, not
    replace them.

Although we are primarily a dispersed community (we live and work in various parts of the country), we travel together
as one in spirit with Our Lord.  We believe that our purpose is to awaken to God's wisdom and love, and to shape our
lives following His principles.  The expression of our personal mission in life is a response to the love of God who
made each of us in an individual way. We join together as the body of Christ to share our journey and our resources
as we are able, and to mutually encourage each other's faith.
